Vegan Ground Beef Replacement
Ingredients
- 1 cup TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein)
- 1 cup Vegetable broth or stock
- 1½ tbsp Soy Sauce or Liquid Aminos
- 2-3 tsp Worcestershire sauce (Vegan)
- 1 tbsp Liquid smoke
- 1½ tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 Pinches Ground pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Prepare the Vegetables
- In a saucepan, bring Vegetable broth to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Add Soy Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, Liquid smoke
- Add Cumin, Garlic Powder and Ground Pepper.
- Stir for 1 minute.
- Add TVP, stir to combine.
- Turn off heat.
- Cover pan with Lid for 5 minutes.
- Turn on heat to medium.
- Stir occasionally for one minute.
- Add Olive oil.
- Stir occasionally for 2 minutes.
