I like French Fries, although I would rather not fry them. I also like them to be browned and firm.
I like a little thickness to my Fries. First cut the potatoes into 1/3 inches slices. Next, cut the the potato slices into 1/4 inch slices.
In a bowl, toss the Potatoes with Oil, Salt and Pepper. I use Olive Oil. Use your hands, it is more fun.
You can the toss Potatoes, Oil, Salt and Pepper directly on the pan to reduce the dishes to clean. The excess oil on the pan will heat up and a little smokey scent will come from the oven.
Spread over a Baking Sheet Pan.
Bake for 15 minutes on 425 degrees.
